Built in the end of the 19th century, the Landhotel  Wolfschlugen wasn’t always a hotel and a restaurant.

It’s architecture of a type of German timber-framed farmhouse, combined living quarters, byre and barn under one roof. Also the size of the building gives away the story, that it was owned by a wealthy landlord who was a local notable in the village of Wolfschlugen.

Today, especially the ground floor of the building gives a hint of its historical past.

Because of its central location, after the war the house served as a ballroom, a butchers shop, a laundry, a hairdressing salon and a discotheque, to name a few.

The Landhotel Wolfschlugen as we know it today, is the result of its owners’ desire  to transform this historical building into a hotel and restaurant, renovating the house but  keeping the nostalgic flair alive.

We look forward to welcoming you to our Hotel, Lounge and Restaurant soon and fulfill your expectations!
